The Porcelain Art School of Indiana
Maxine Jones
Memorial Scholarship
Maxine Jones was a china painter from Murray, Kentucky. She was also longtime attendee and supporter of the Porcelain Art School of Indiana. She provided a gift to the school for a scholarship to be used to introduce new students to china painting. Her family has established this in her memory.
Eligible students must be new to china painting and enrolled in an introductory class. The amount awarded to the student is discretionary by the PASI board. The scholarship will be used for tuition which will partially cover class, firing and lunch. It does not include class supplies, white china, transportation or overnight accommodations. The applicant is responsible for any remaining tuition fee. The scholarship form may be accessed and printed at the link below.
